The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has started inviting online applications for the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test 2021 (JKCET 2021). Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the JKCET 2021 for admission to Bachelor of Engineering & Technology Courses in government, private colleges of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, for the academic session 2021-22.
JKBOPEE invites online applications from the eligible and desirous candidates of UT of J&K / Ladakh for appearing in the Common Entrance Test (CET Engineering)-2021 for admission to Bachelor of Engineering & Technology Courses in Government/Private Colleges of UT of J&K for the academic session 2021. Interested candidates can visit the official site, jkbopee.gov.in, and apply online from March 14, 2021, to April 6, 2021.
The applicants are advised to fill up the online Application Forms at https://jkbopee.gov.in, on their own or through a responsible person. The applicants can also avail of the services at Common Service Centres' of J&K for filling up online Application Forms at nominal charges. They can also avail of the services at any National Informatics Centre located at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of the concerned District. The interested candidates have to upload the following scanned original / self-attested certificates in PDF format with size from 100-200 KB along with the Application Form.
Documents required: Domicile certificates for Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh, Class XII mark sheet, Proof of date of birth, Reserved category certificate, Tuition fee waiver certificate (if any).
The Applicant must: a. be a Domicile of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh as the case may be, however in respect of Candidates of UT of Ladakh, ST certificate issued by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be treated as Domicile Certificate. Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized statutory Board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and with at least 50% marks for Open Merit Category whereas, candidates including the Children of Defence Personnel, Children of Para Military Force, Children of J&K Police Personnel and candidates possessing outstanding proficiency in sports and 40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST and Other Socially and Educationally Backward classes.
Age Limit: Minimum age should be at least 17 years as on 1st December 2021;
The selection of the candidates shall be governed by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination Act, 2002 and the Rules and Regulations.
Admit Card: The Notification for downloading of online/electronic Admit Card/ Date of Entrance Test shall be notified separately. The date and venue for the conduct of the examination shall be intimated on the official website https://jkbopee.gov.in, however, it has been stated that the exam will be held in pen-paper mode at Jammu/ Srinagar Centres simultaneously.
