JEE Advanced 2021 Information Brochure and the list of documents that are required during JEE (Advanced) 2021 registration are now available on the website. According to the brochure released by the IIT Kharagpur, amid the prevailing pandemic situation due to COVID-19, JEE (Advanced) 2021 which was scheduled to be held on July 03, 2021 (Saturday) has been postponed. The revised date of examination will be announced at an appropriate time.
JEE Advanced 2021 examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Appearing in both papers is compulsory for the eligible students. The examination will be conducted only in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. To attain familiarity with the CBT mode candidates are advised to take mock tests available on the website https://jeeadv.ac.in. Each candidate will be allotted a computer terminal (node) at the test centre.
The dates for various activities regarding JEE (Advanced) 2021 and AAT are presented in the Information Brochure; which shall be updated subsequently and the modified list of dates shall also be displayed on the website.

Indian nationals who wish to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2021 are required to write/ should have written B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2021 conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Foreign national candidates who have studied or are studying in India at 10+2 level or equivalent and wish to appear for JEE (Advanced) 2021 are required to write / should have written B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE (Main) 2021.

JEE (Main) 2020 Qualified Candidates Registered for JEE (Advanced) 2020 successfully, but were absent in both the papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of JEE (Advanced) 2020, can also appear for the JEE Advanced 2021 examination. However, they must successfully register for the JEE (Advanced) 2021 in the online registration portal and pay the registration fee.
Age limit: Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1996. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST and PwD candidates.
Due to the prevailing Covid – 19 pandemic-related circumstances in India, the date of JEE (Advanced) 2021, stated in the Information Brochure, has been postponed. A new date will be announced in due course. As a consequence, the dates for registration, admission, counselling etc., contained in this document may also be revised, reads an official statement at JEE Advanced portal.
It may be noted that the new examination date (to be announced) will remain unchanged even if it is declared a public holiday.
JEE (Main) 2021 Qualified Candidates: The passport size photograph and the signature uploaded at the time of registration
in JEE (Main) 2021 will be auto-populated and used for JEE (Advanced) 2021. Additionally, the documents that need to be uploaded at the time of registration for JEE (Advanced) 2021 are explained in the document file.
