IIT Delhi in coordination with Joint Admission Board (JAB) has released JEE (Advanced) 2020 brochure. At official website jeeadv.ac.in, Institute on Friday released Information Brochure (English) for JEE Advanced 2020 examination & intimates on schedule of registration & exam. As per schedule laid down, eligible candidates are urged to register online at JEE Advanced 2020 portal from 1st May 2020 onwards. Brochure comprising exam guidelines, required eligibility for JEE Advanced along with seat reservation in all IITs etc, is live at IIT Delhi official portal. The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2020 will be conducted by the seven Zonal Coordinating (ZC) IITs under the guidance of the Joint Admission Board (JAB) 2020.
Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi on March 6, 2020 released JEE Advanced information brochure. For admissions into 23 IITs (as serialized) JEE Advance registration to begin from May 1, 2020 & to close on 6th.
For admissions into 23 IITs, premiere Institute IIT Delhi has laid down the guidelines through Information Brochure 2020. Applicants can view guidelines on JEE (Advanced) 2020 registration, eligibility required (weightage of Mains/ 12th/Attempts/Age criteria etc). Based on intimation the performance of a candidate in JEE (Advanced) 2020 will form the basis for admission to the Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s and Dual Degree Programs (entry at the 10+2 level) in all the IITs in the academic year 2020-21.
JEE Advanced 2020 Eligibility Required
Candidates who wish to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020 must write B.E /B.Tech paper of JEE (Main) 2020 which will be held in the month of January 2020 and April 2020. Detailed eligibility for JEE Advanced is briefed-
All the candidates must simultaneously fulfil each and every one of the following five criteria to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2020.
Criterion 1- Performance in JEE (Main) 2020
Criterion 2 – Age limit
Criterion 3 – Number of attempts
Criterion 4 – Appearance in Class XII (or equivalent) examination And
Criterion 5 – Earlier admission at IITs
Admission into various undergraduate programs across IITs is through the Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced). The Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2020 and the subsequent admission process to the IITs shall be governed by the rules. Through JEE (Advanced), IITs offer admission into undergraduate courses leading to a Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s or Bachelor-Master Dual Degree in Engineering, Sciences or Architecture.
Note- In some of the IITs, students enrolled into the 4-year Bachelor’s program have the option to pursue B.Tech (Honors) and/or B.Tech. with Minors. Dual Degree students may also pursue a Minor. Further, in some IITs B. Tech. students also have the option to pursue Interdisciplinary Dual Degree, with Bachelors in parent Department and Master’s in some other Department.
Schedule of JEE (ADVANCED) 2020-
The examination consists of two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of three hours duration each. Both the papers are compulsory. The examination will be held as per the schedule-
Date of Examination- 17 May 2020 (Sunday), Paper 1- 09:00 IST to 12:00 IST and Paper 2- 14:30 IST to 17:30 IST.
All PWD candidates are eligible for one hour compensatory time, i.e., the end time will be 13:00 IST for Paper 1 and 18:30 IST for Paper 2. Seats Reservation in IITs offering admissions-
Scheduled Caste (SC) – 15% of seats in every course.
Scheduled Tribe (ST) – 7.5% of seats in every course
Persons with Disability (PwD) – 5%
And Seats allotted to such foreign nationals are supernumerary with a cap of 10% of total number of seats in every course.

For online registration candidates need to register Online at jeeadv.ac.in. Online registration process for JEE Advance 2020 to begin from Friday, May 1, 2020 10:00 IST whereas Online registration closing date is set as Wednesday, May 6, 2020 (17:00 IST). Last date for fee payment for registered candidates is Thursday, May 7, 2020. JEE Advance 2020 to be organized on 17 May 2020 (Sunday).
