The Union Human Resource & Development Ministry (MHRD) is set to clarify the situation in the next couple of hours over CTET, CBSE Board Exams and University pending exams. It is being expected that the decision on CBSE CTET Exam likely to be in favour of postpone of exam to a new date. Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in view of current Corona Virus situation across Delhi, Maharashtra and various other states likely to differ the scheduled exam dates of CBSE CTET July 5, 2020 scheduled exam.
According to reports it is being said that CBSE Board has no other option to further postpone the remaining examinations of CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th along with CTET. According to sources the remaining examinations of the CBSE board (Class 10th and 12th) scheduled between July 1 and 15, and CBSE CTET exam which is scheduled on July 5, 2020, are can’t be conducted on scheduled dates & this likely to compel CBSE to further postpone the CTET and CBSE board examinations.
Many states across the country are not ready to conduct CBSE Board and CBSE CTET exams as scheduled in July and even the petitions in Supreme Court are filed in the same matter. On Thursday CBSE board after chairing meeting with Ministry of Home Affairs and MHRD likely to take further decision on said exams.
On the subject of Board Examinations, CBSE said that the decision-making process is in advanced stage. A final decision will be taken by Thursday in regarding the CBSE 10th, 12th & CTET Exams. Union Ministry of Human Resource and Development and CBSE Board are likely to take final decision on remaining examinations in the Supreme Court.

In view of current situation due to Coronavirus many state governments and parents have demanded to cancel CBSE Board examinations. The HRD Ministry has consulted the Ministry of Home Affairs to take a final decision on these exams. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Manish Sisodia has written a letter to Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal over the CBSE Board 10th and 12th class exams. Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia has asked the Central Government not to conduct the remaining board exams of class 10th and 12th.
Final Decision on CTET New Exam Date Today- According to sources, CBSE board on Thursday likely to take a decision to further postpone Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) June 2020 exam to a new date. It is being estimated that Board may postpone CTET July 5, 2020 scheduled examination to a new date to August-September. The notice on further postpone of CTET exam shall be updated at cbse.nic.in
Earlier for CTET July 2020, CBSE board invited applications from 24-01-2020 to 24-02-2020, the last date for submission of fee was 27-02-2020. CTET July examination was scheduled on July 5, 2020.
