Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the September 2020 exam date sheet for the students appearing for TEE June examinations starting from 17 September. IGNOU on September 2, updated at the website the detailed instructions in view of the September 2020 examinations for final year/ semester students. The June 2020 Term End Examinations will begin from 17 September 2020, as per the recent notice published by the University. For the safety of the students all the Examination Centers will implement the Social Distancing and other measures as per Government of India guidelines in current scenario of Covid19 to ensure health and safety of the students.
It is also made clear that any student who is not able to appear for the IGNOU Term End Examination September 2020, for the Covid-19 related reasons or other reason will be permitted to appear in December 2020 Term End Examinations of the University. The Examination Fee submitted by the students towards the June 2020 TEE will be displayed for the December 2020 TEE. That is the students will not be required to pay the examination fee afresh for the courses, which seams he/ she has already registered for June 2020 Term End Examinations, official notice reads.
Students are also required to adhere to the guidelines and maintain the Social Distancing and hygiene to ensure safety and health of their own and the fellow students. The detailed instruction on September 2020 examinations are as follows-
IGNOU Exams in 2 Shifts:
The September scheduled TEE Examination will be held in two shifts, i.e Morning session from 10 am to 1 pm and Evening session from 2 pm to 5 pm. Duration of the exam will be as mentioned on the question paper, the official notice reads. Students of programme codes mentioned in the Date Sheet can partake in the September 2020 examinations.

OMR Mode for Selected Courses:
IGNOU is going to hold TEE June 2020 examinations from 17 September 2020 onwards. Term End Examinations will be conducted in blended mode as September 2020. Along with the descriptive type (Pen/Paper mode), the question paper of a selected programme/ courses will be of objective type and OMR based.
In view of the prevailing Covid-19 scenario across the country, may not get the desired examination centre. The University has tried to accommodate such students in a nearby examination centre mentioned in the students’ hall ticket. Student may note that there can be possibility of last-minute change of examination centre due to Covid-19 situation. In such a condition IGNOU will take appropriate remedial measures. The affected students are also advised to be in touch with their respective Regional Centres.
IGNOU Hall Tickets:
Hall Ticket of the eligible students will be available on the University website soon. The students are advised to visit the IGNOU website regularly and download their hall ticket and follow the instructions printed on the Hall Ticket, notice adds.
