Veteran Film Critic Rajeev Masand In Critical Condition After Testing COVID-19 Positive, Celebs Wish Him Fast Recuperation

Veteran film writer and seasoned critic Rajeev Masand is in a critical condition at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. He was hospitalized in the wake of testing positive for COVID-19.

As per recent reports, Veteran film writer and previous critic Rajeev Masand is in a critical condition at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. He was hospitalized in the wake of testing positive for COVID-19.

A media report expressed that Masand is on the ventilator, and the specialists taking care of him have depicted his condition as critical. In any case, Somen Mishra, who fills in as Head Of Creative Development (Scripts) at Dharma Productions, suppressed reports of Masand being on the ventilator and affirmed that the senior columnist's health condition is critical. 

Somen Mishra tweeted, "Saw this as it appeared on timeline. Seems word is doing the rounds, too many calls/messages, so just clarifying he is not on ventilator. Critical, yes. Also slightly better today. Hoping praying for the best."

Similarly, many other celebs like Bharati S Pradhan, Rahul Dev, and  Lada Guru Den Singh have also sent their best regards for Rajeev Masand amid these crucial times.  

Veteran Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty also sent his best wishes to Rajeev as he posted on his Twitter handle, "Get well soon @RajeevMasand... praying for your speedy recovery

Similarly, ex-big box contestant and seasoned Bollywood actor Rahul Dev tweeted, "Damn ... More power to you @RajeevMasand... Stay strong." 

Lada Guruden Singh, Director, and Head, Creative Development at Sony Pictures India tweeted, "#RajeevMasand is NOT on a ventilator. The last thing we need right now is speculation. Think about him and his family before you tweet irresponsibly."
