Uunchai: OTT Platform, Release Date, Where To Watch, TV Rights & More

The Sooraj Barjatya-directed movie "Uunchai," which debuted last week on Friday, has generated a lot of interest among cinema fans online. The movie premiered to raving acclaim from reviewers and starred Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, and Sarika.

The movie follows three elderly friends as they trek to the Everest Base Camp to grant their fourth friend's final wish. Uunchai OTT platform, release date, where to watch, TV rights, & everything else you need to know has been listed here. 

Uunchai Box Office

On the same day as Rocket Gang, Uunchai faced off against it and prevailed. On its first day in theatres, the movie brought in Rs. 1.81 crores. It increased by 50% and brought in Rs. 3.64 crores on day two. It brought in Rs. 5.05 crore on the third day.

On Sunday, the movie minted approximately INR 4.71 crores & the total now stands at almost INR 13 crores! It is expected that Uunchai might end up crossing the INR 25 crore mark in India.

Uunchai OTT Platform, TV Rights & Where To Watch

The movie, which is currently playing in theaters, will also soon be available on small screens thanks to ZEE5's acquisition of the streaming rights to "Uunchai." As for the TV rights, its highly likely that the film will premiere at ZEE Cinema.

Uunchai OTT Release Date

The film's creators have not yet disclosed the OTT release information. Although, the expected digital release date might fall somewhere close to late December 2022.
