The Kashmir Files appears to be slowing off lately since weekday collections have dropped below the ₹3 crore mark. The picture earned ₹2.00 crores more on Thursday, after earning ₹2.50 crores on Wednesday. This is the first time it has happened for the film since it debuted at more than ₹3 crores, with ₹3.55 crores coming on an opening day. The collection would remain in the ₹2 crores range today as well, though it remains to be seen whether it sustains this kind of run or falls below ₹2 crores tomorrow, given the arrival of Attack – Part 1. This would also remove a significant number of displays, giving audiences a new option. Having said that, as has been the case for the previous three weekends, one may expect a huge surge to arrive over the weekend, which should help the picture surpass the ₹250 crore mark.
