Sushant Singh Rajput suicide: Kangana Ranaut slams Bollywood, says he was never acknowledged for his performance

Sushant Singh Rajput suicide: Bollywood's queen Kangana Ranaut has slammed the entire film fraternity for the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, one of the most promising actors. The Tanu Weds Manu actress said that despite the great line up of films like MS. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Kedarnath, Chhichhore, the actor never received any acknowledgement or awards. The actress also called out a section of Bollywood celebrities for projecting the 34-year-old late actor’s "weak mind" as the reason for his suicidal death. 

Team Kangana Ranaut shared a 2-minute-long video, on its official Instagram handle in which Kangana said, "Sushant Singh Rajput's demise has shaken us, but some people are saying that those who have weak mind get depressed and die by suicide. I'd like to say that Sushant was a rank-holder, how can his mind be weak?" according to reports in a leading website. In the video, Kangana also highlighted in her caption that it's important to give talent their due. She further added that if celebrities are struggling with personal and mental health problems, the media should help them emphasize and not make it more difficult for them.

The Bollywood actress has often entangled in controversies due to her stand against nepotism and has once again taken she seems to be the one-man army against the whole film fraternity. Giving reference to one of Sushant's viral post where he is seen pleading people to watch his movies else he'd be thrown out of the Bollywood industry as he “didn’t have a godfather, Kangana said despite his great work in films wasn't acknowledged. Kangana also claimed that people have been sending her messages influencing her to commit suicide as she is in a very difficult time.

Sushant Singh Rajput's funeral was held yesterday at Pawan Hans crematorium in Vile Parle in Mumbai last evening.
