Super 30 Box Office Collection Day 4 - Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur starrer "Super 30" is being loved by audiences and has been performing well in scores of cities across India. Released on July 12, the film is giving a tough fight to Shahid Kapoor's superhit film Kabir Singh and Ayushmann Khurrana's Article 15 in terms of box office collections. Super 30 is all geared up for the smooth ride in the desiring Rs 100-crore club and proving to be a strong comeback for Hrithik Roshan at the box office.
Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film is based on the life and work of mathematician Anand Kumar, who runs a programme called Super 30. In it, Anand Kumar helps brilliant but underprivileged children prepare for the IIT entrance examination.
The film's box office collection was at around Rs 6.92 crores on Monday, thus making a total box collection of the film up-to the Rs 57.68 crore. Super 30 has crossed the Rs 50-crore mark in the first three days of its release. The film opened at Rs 11.83 crore and went on to earn Rs 18.19 crore and Rs 20.74 crore on its first Saturday and Sunday respectively at the box office in the country.
Super 30's collection has also been affected due to heavy rainfall in several parts of the country, including Bihar. However, the Bihar government has already announced that Hrithik Roshan-starrer will run tax-free in the state from yesterday will also help in its earnings. The decision to make the movie tax-free was announced by Bihar's Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Monday. He had also watched the movie on Friday at a screening where Hrithik Roshan was also present.
Apart from Hrithik Roshan, the film also features Mrunal Thakur, who will be playing Hrithik's wife in the movie. Other prominent actors in the film include veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi as Anand Kumar's rival and Pankaj Saxena as Anand Kumar's father.
