Rocketry: The Nambi Effect by R Madhavan has received a lot of praise from critics and spectators alike. Though it started slowly, collections have picked up throughout the weekend. The R Madhavan-starrer opened theatres on July 1 and managed to keep up the momentum at the box office.

Despite being released on a small number of screens, it managed to earn a respectable amount at the box office on the second, third, and fourth days. It competed with Aditya Roy Kapur's actioner 'Rashtra Kavach Om' at the box office. Rocketry (Hindi) likewise had a modest first weekend gross of little less than ₹5 crores, but it showed a solid trend over the weekend, with a massive surge on Saturday and a good jump on Sunday. The issue is that collections are quite low. Outside of the blockbusters RRR and KGF 2, the movie may fare better than other imports from the South in terms of box office, but it is bilingual, not dubbed.
