Mardaani 2 Box Office Collection Day 5: Rani Mukerji's drama Mardaani 2 is doing a steady business at the box office. Directed by Gopi Puthran, the film is performing better than the actress's last two releases- Hichki (2018) and Mardaani (2014). Mardaani 2 movie hit the screens on December 13 and opened with a decent amount of Rs 3.80 crore. However, it improved on the weekend and earned Rs 6.55 crore and Rs 7.80 crore on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, it is expected to mint Rs 4 crore.

Directed by Gopi Puthran, Mardaani 2 opened with Rs 3.80 crore on Friday and improved its collection in the weekend as it collected Rs 6.55 crore and Rs 7.80 crore on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Its collection slumped on Monday as it was able to make just Rs 2.85 crore.

Mardaani 2 sees a spectacular performance by Rani Mukerji, who plays the role of police officer Shivani Shivaji Roy in the film. The protagonist is on a mission to nab a serial killer, who kidnaps, rapes and then brutally kills young girls in the city of Kota, Rajasthan.
