Significantly, Kangana was very active on Twitter and often used to make controversial tweets. There was an uproar on his tweet many times. However, she did not stop tweeting, due to which her Twitter was also blocked and a case of sedition was also registered against her for allegedly spreading hatred.
Now Kangana has to go to Budapest to shoot a film, but the passport department has objected to renewing her passport due to this FIR. Due to this, Kangana has once again approached the court and filed a petition.
Kangana said in her application to the court that, 'She is an actress and her work is such that she has to travel to many locations in the country and abroad for shooting'. Kangana said that, 'She is the lead actress of a film and she has to travel to Budapest from June 15 to August'. Kangana told that the date of her passport is expiring in September 2021. She had applied to the Passport Authority to reissue it, but it has been refused due to the registration of FIR. So he has filed a petition in the court.
Kangana said that the production house has invested a lot of money in booking the shooting location where she has to join as an actress. In such a situation, it is even more important that her passport should be renewed.
Kangana has demanded that the magistrate's order and FIR should not compromise the right to issue a passport in her name. His petition will be heard by a bench of Justices PB Varale and SP Tawde on Tuesday, June 15.
Let us inform that on October 17, Bandra police acted against Kangana and Rangoli on the complaint of Munnavarali Sayyed IPC sections 153A (promoting enmity between different religious groups) 295A (outraging religious feelings), 124A (sedition), and 34 A case has been registered under (conspiracy). Kangana later sought quashing of the FIR lodged by the police and quashing of the magistrate's order.
On the work front, Kangana will be seen in the film 'Thalaivi'. This film was about to be released in theaters but due to the outbreak of Corona, its release has been banned at present. Apart from Thalaivi, Kangana will also be seen in 'Dhaakad' and 'Tejas'.
