Kabir Singh Box Office Collection Day 22 - Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani starrer "Kabir Singh" was opened at an excellent note and still continues its magical run at the box office. After 3 weeks, the total box office collection of the film registered Rs 249.60 crores. Now in the 4th week, Kabir Singh has started the weekend at a good note despite a normal drop in his earnings due to Hrithik Roshan's Super 30. Shahid Kapoor's film crossed over many things to reach this feat including the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 matches as well as torrential rains in many parts of the country.
The film's box office collection was Rs 3.32 crore on Thursday, a little dip in his earnings on due to the ICC World Cup 2019 2nd Semi-final between England and Australia, Rs 2.54 crore on Friday. Thus, making a total at around Rs 252.14 crores at the box office.
Kabir Singh's box office collection was Rs 134.42 crore in his 1st week, followed by Rs 78.78 crore in 2nd week and Rs 36.40 crore in his 3rd week at the box office. Also, the film has touched the magical figure of Rs 250 crores in the 22 days of its release. The film had crossed the figure of Rs 100 crores in 5 days and Rs 200 crores in 13 days.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh is a remake of Telugu hit Arjun Reddy. The film is jointly produced by Cine1 Studios and T-Series and focuses on the protagonist, an alcoholic surgeon (played by Shahid Kapoor) who goes on a self-destructive path after his girlfriend (played by Kiara Advani) is forced to marry someone else.
Kabir Singh was released across 3,123 screens in India and 493 screens overseas. Apart from Shahid Kapoor, the film also featuring Kiara Advani, Arjan Bajwa, Soham Majumdar, Suresh Oberoi and Adil Hussain in key roles.
