The main reason behind the failure of this film is te bad-word-of-mouth from the critics & severe competition from Yash's latest film KGF Chapter 2.

Divyang Thakkar wrote and directed Jayeshbhai Jordaar, a social comedy-drama. Yash Raj Films' Aditya Chopra and Maneesh Sharma are producing the film. The film stars Ranveer Singh as Jayeshbhai, a Gujarati man who opposes patriarchy, and Shalini Pandey as the female lead. Ranveer Singh portrays a different kind of hero in this film. Supporting parts are played by Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, and Deeksha Joshi.
