Jabariya Jodi, movie starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, had a slow opening at the box office. The film opened at Rs 3.15 crore on Friday, trade analyst Taran Adarsh Twitte on his Twitter account.
Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra's Jabariya Jodi released on Friday. Based on pakadwa vivah (groom kidnapping) prevalent in Bihar is the actors' second film together. Parineeti Chopra and Sidharth Malhotra's film Jabariya Jodi that released on Friday doesn't seem to fare well at the box office. The film, directed by Prashant Singh, opened with only 8-10 per cent occupancy and its box office collection day 1 Rs 3.15 crore.
Produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, which completes 25 years in 2019, Jabariya Jodi is based on pakadwa vivah (groom kidnapping) prevalent in some parts of Bihar.
