With a new Friday release today, Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya is getting a good response over the first-day opening, however, Ajay Devgn’s remarkable thriller film Drishyam 2 is still making waves at the box office and crossed the 100 crores mark on its 7 days of running on the screens. 

Drishyam 2 started its journey with INR 15 Crores on its first day and continues to mint money at the box office. As per the reports, the film has tremendously performed well on its day 7 collection as well and earned around INR 103.4 Crores nett India. 

After this kind of growing buzz around the film, the movie maker has already to think about its next franchise. Though, the Director of the film stated that the film might receive tough competition in its 2nd week of running at the box office, due to the release of ‘Bhediya’ starring Varun Dhawan and Kirti Sanon released today.

Drishyam 2 Occupancy Rate and Earning Updates 

The film got a theatrical hit since its first day opening on 18th November 2022, on 3302 screens in India and 858 approx. in Overseas and around 4160 screens Worldwide. The budget of the movie was INR 50 Crores, and with its 7 days running on at the box office, it earned above 100 Crores. 

As per the reports, the morning show occupancy rate shows 10-12% at the big screens, which may get increased for the evening and night shows, which may estimate to INR 7-8 Crores approx. on its Day 8.
