Drishyam 2 Box Office Collection Day 1: Ajay Devgn Film Likely To Have a Double Digit Opening

The prequel of this part, Drishyam 2015, collected about INR 110.40 Crore worldwide. The movie has passed the UA Certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification with the approval of 2hrs 22mins running time.  The sequel Drishyam 2 has hit the big screens even, started to take advance online bookings on 2nd October 2022.

The most awaited Bollywood crime thriller Drishyam 2 prequel of Drishyam hit the screens on Friday, 18th November 2022. Even, the film has seen the second-highest ticket sales after Brahmastra and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2.

If comparing, Brahmastra has online ticket sales of approximately INR 19.66 crores, on the other Drishyam 2 knocked to 6.8 Cr from its online booking on its opening day. It is highly likely, it may get clocked at approximately 10 Cr, a day-wise increase on the coming weekends and vice versa. 

Drishyam 2 Screen Counts and Budget 

On its opening day, in India and Nepal Drishyam 2 occupied 3302 screens showcasing major multiplexes all over the country. The movie got released on 858 screens and in overseas territories screen counts of about 4160 worldwide. 

Considering the budget, Ajay Devgn is said to be doing it with a budget of 50 crores, at least needing to churn out about 75 Crore nett domestically to emerge as a hit flick.
