Bombay High Court grants bail to Rhea Chakraborty, no relief to Showik

The Bombay high court on Wednesday granted bail to Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty, who was taken into custody by the NCB in a drug case.

Bombay High Court grants bail to Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty and rejects the bail plea of her brother Showik Chakraborty. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) had arrested them in connection with a drug case related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case. As per the latest report, Rhea Chakraborty gets bail on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh. Bombay High Court says, "Rhea should mark her presence for 10 days in the police station after release, deposit her passport, not travel abroad without court permission & inform the investigating officer if she has to leave Greater Mumbai"  

NCB also arrested Samuel Miranda & Dipesh Sawant in connection with a drugs case, today Bombay High court granted bail and Abdul Basit's bail plea rejected. 

Rhea Chakraborty has been granted bail all most a month after her arrest over drug-related charges in the Sushant Singh Rajput Case. The actress was arrested on September 8 by NCB on charges of organizing drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput. 

Recently, an AIIMS forensic team that was re-evaluating Rajput’s post-mortem report, ruled out any foul play in the actor’s death and concluded that he died by suicide. AIIMS doctors called his death "a case of hanging and death by suicide." The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had taken over the probe into the alleged abetment to suicide case filed by the Rajput's father KK Singh in Patna against Chakraborty and her family.
