Bollywood superstar Sridevi Kapoor, has passed away in Dubai from a heart attack. Sridevi Kapoor was 54 and her death was confirmed by her family, who were attending a wedding with her in that country. Her husband, Boney Kapoor, and daughter Khushi were with her when she died, according to reports.
Sridevi Kapoor debuted as a lead actress in a Bollywood film in 1978, and starred in more than 150 films, including such Bollywood classics as Mr India, Chandni, ChaalBaaz and Sadma and many others.?
Sridevi Kapoor made a comeback in 2012 in Gauri Shinde's English Vinglish after a long break after the film Judaai. The last movie she acted was in Mom, also starring her own daughter, Akshay Khanna and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
Sridevi Kapoor had worked in films in the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages.
The Indian government awarded her the Padma Shri, its fourth-highest civilian honor, in 2013.
