83 Film release date postponed, Official statement out due to Novel Coronavirus

Kabir Khan's 83 Film release put on hold due to Novel Coronavirus Outbreak into to county. The release date of Ranveer Singh's 83 is re-schedule when conditions return to normal. The cases of coronavirus are increasing by the hour and all measures are taken by the authorities to combat the Novel Coronavirus pandemic. To ensure the nation’s safety first, the filmmakers of the 83 film  has put the release of the film on hold, film starring by Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in a lead role and others in supporting role.

We will take a decision regarding the next course of action once the conditions return to normal. We urge our fans to take all the necessary precautions and take care of their loved ones. 83 is a film about fighting the odds and we hope we all will bounce back from this soon. With Love.Team.'

Ranveer Singh shares a post and captioned it, '83 is not just our film but the entire nation’s film. But the health and safety of the nation always comes first. Stay safe, take care. We shall be back soon!'

83 The Film New Release Date

All film related activity in Mumbai has been halted due to Novel Coronavirus atleast up until March 31. Several productions that are halfway through their shoots will likely have to delay their release dates to 2021. In 1983 the Indian Cricket Team Won the World Cup in England. This was very first time that any team apart from the West Indies ever won the world cup. Ranveer Singh will be seen as Kapil Dev and Deepika Padukone will seen the role of his wife, Romi Dev.

Reliance Entertainment and Phantom Films present 83 film, a Kabir Khan Films Production. The film is bankrolled by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, Phantom Films, Reliance Entertainment and 83 Film Ltd. 83 is directed by Kabir Khan. A Reliance Entertainment and PVR Pictures was slated for April 10, 2020 release.
