21st IIFA Awards ceremony in Indore to be hosted by Salman Khan, postponed

21st IIFA Awards are going to represent by the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Riteish Deshmukh. Opening of IIFA Awards will feature warm welcome of guests. Hotest perfomance will be performed by Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez. This show will shown in the Indore from March 27 to 29, before starting this a pre-event festival such as IIFA Rocks and Technical awards will take place in Bhopal on March 21.

This is the first time that Salman Khan will host 21st International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) which will be joined by Riteish Deshmukh. The beautiful announcement was made at a press meeting on Monday in Bhopal, this meeting was held by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath with Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez.

In the press conference Chief Minister Kamal Nath said that 'I heard first time about IIFA, I thought it is a football event.' and Salman Khan also share feelings in front of press conference & said 'He has so much energy that I won't address him as my elder brother, but a younger one.' IIFA Award functions have been held in 12 countries in cities like Dubai, Bangkok, Singapore, Colombo, Toronto, Madrid, Macau and many more. IIFA Awards which were first presented in 2000 in London after that this will be the 21st edition which held in beautiful city Indore. Indore has a good memories of Salman Khan not only he, it is birthplace of legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar.

IIFA award ceremony postponed due to coronavirus

After countries like China and Italy, now Coronavirus has started showing havoc in India too. So far, 31 cases of coronavirus have been reported in India. Recently, a Delhi-based man traveling to Thailand and Malaysia was found infected with coronavirus. The effect of coronavirus is also being seen on the entertainment world. Actually, IIFA (International Indian Film Academy Award) (IIFAA) to be held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh has also been postponed due to coronavirus. The organizers of the ceremony issued a statement on Friday confirming the change in the dates of IIFA.
