According to reports, Kangana Ranaut's Thalaivi trailer release date has been confirmed as 23rd March, which also marks the actress's birthday. Giving the testimony of the grand scale the film is mounted upon, the Thalaivi trailer is expected to be launched in two cities on the same day - Chennai and Mumbai.

Kangana Ranaut recently took to her social media handle to reveal her new look for the movie and J. Jayalalithaa biopic Thalaivi trailer release date details.

Here is what she wrote on her Twitter handle-  "One day to go for the trailer launch of #Thalaivi Gaining 20 kgs and loosing it all back within a span of few months wasn’t the only challenge that I faced while filming this Epic Biopic, wait is getting over just in few hours Jaya will be your forever'

Thalaivi (transl. Female leader) is an upcoming Indian multilingual biographical film about the life of J. Jayalalithaa, a politician and film actress who served six terms as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, with Kangana Ranaut playing the role of Jayalalithaa.

The Jayalalithaa biopic is directed by A. L. Vijay and produced by Vibri Media in collaboration with Karma Media And Entertainment. Simultaneously shot in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages under the same title, filming began on 10 November 2019. Thalaivi is scheduled for release on 23 April 2021.
