The National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted the UGC NET November 26 shift 1 examination for Commerce (Group-3) and Tamil language subjects. According to the media reports, the examination in computer-based mode is held successfully at all the examination centers. Based on feedback from the students, the exam for shift 1 is now over with a moderate difficulty level for commerce.
The first shift exam which began at 9:30 AM lasted at 12:30 PM while the examination for the second shift is scheduled from 2:30 to 5:30 pm. Reports suggest that the exam is being held following the social distancing and strict COVID-19 measures.
Once the examination is over, the nodal agency shall issue the UGC NET answer key of held Commerce, Tamil, and Computer Science & Applications response sheet and intimation regarding challenges. Candidates who appear for the online exam can check the availability of the answer key online.
The NTA will display the recorded responses and answer key of UGC NET December 2020 and June 2021 papers attempted by the candidates on its website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The responses will be displayed for a two to three days time period. Hence, candidates are advised to be in touch with the NTA website for exam-related announcements.
Candidates will be given an opportunity to make a challenge online against the Provisional Answer Key on payment of Rs. 1000 per question challenged as processing charges.
The first shift examination was held from 09:30 am- 12:30 pm, followed by the second shift examination from 02:30 pm- 5:30 pm. Candidates shall not be permitted to enter the examination center after 8.30 am in First Shift and after 1.30 pm in Second Shift.
Commerce (Subject Code 08): In Commerce, Group-3 examination questions were asked from the topics including Business Environment and International Business, Business Economics, Legal Aspects of Business, Business Statistics, Marketing Management, Financial Institutions, etc. One has to answer a maximum of as many as correct responses, as there is negative marking in the exam. Tamil paper 1 test consisted of 50 questions from Reasoning Ability, Reading Comprehension, Divergent Thinking, and General Awareness of the candidates. The paper consists of 50 questions from 10 units, with precisely 5 questions from each unit. The total marks in the examination are 100.
