Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has conducted CHSL Tier 1 online computer-based exam on Thursday, August 05, 2021, first shift exam. As the examination is over, candidates who have appeared or going to appear in the next shift exams can check Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Tier 1 paper analysis here. According to the sources, the level of the 1st shift exam was "Easy to Moderate".
Based on the inputs received from the students, the questions based on Quantitative Aptitude were a bit tricky and time-consuming, whereas, questions from GK and English sections were comparatively easier than the rest of the two parts. Candidates were given a maximum of 1 hour to attempt all the questions, so candidates needed to manage the time accordingly.
In reasoning, questions were asked from Alphanumeric Series, Direction, Mixtures & Allegations, Data Sufficiency, Coded Inequalities, Seating Arrangement, and Puzzle. The pattern of the examination was the same as it was in previous shifts.
SSC CHSL 5 August Analysis Shift 1:
The tier-1 exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (objective). The language of the question paper was in both Hindi and English languages. Candidates are awarded 2 marks for every correct answer and 0.50 marks will get deducted for every incorrect answer. The candidates were given a one-hour duration to attempt all the questions. In CHSL tier-1 a maximum of 200 marks can be awarded.

The commission will issue the official answer key of the CHSL Tier 1 exam on its official website ssc.nic.in. An intimation carrying link for answer key and raising challenges/objections would available within 5 to 10 days after the examination is over. The candidates may take a printout of their respective question paper(s) along with the provisional answer keys. Those who are unsatisfied with the answer key responses may raise challenges against it within the stipulated time period. This facility shall likely be available for the candidates for a period of 2 to 5 days.
