Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has successfully conducted the Civil Service Prelims exam on September 19, 2021. The examination is held after a gap of 5 years at allotted centers across the Jharkhand state. Over 3.5 lakh candidates have reportedly appeared for the JPSC Prelims examination. Now, the JPSC is expected to display the official answer key of Prelims Exam for all booklet codes- Set A, B, C, & D on its website.

The candidates who have appeared for the 19th September JPSC Civil Service Prelims Examination are waiting for the commission to release the answer keys. It is hereby candidates are assured that the official answer key will be released at, likely within 3 to 7 days of the examination. Meantime, they can check the analysis, unofficial answer key shared on Youtube by the exam experts.

As far as the report from the exam center is concerned, media reports suggest that approximately 65% of candidates attended the JPSC prelims examination. The exam was held in two shifts at 1,102 exam centers at the district headquarters in Jharkhand.

Based on the feedback from the candidates, a total of 200 multiple-choice type questions are asked in the preliminary examination. The preliminary exam consisted of 2 compulsory papers, namely, General Studies-1 of 200 marks and General Studies-2 of 200 marks. The questions were bilingual in Hindi and English. The total marks in the preliminary exam are 400.

Once the answer key is released, the candidates can check the same by logging in to the official website of JPSC at JPSC will also release an intimation regarding the raising of challenges against and question paper, preliminary answer key.

After receiving challenges, an expert committee will look into it and publish the final answer key on the website. The prelims result will be based on solutions in the final key.

It must be noted that the JPSC will release the list of qualified candidates after the release of the JPSC Prelims 2021 answer keys. The result of the JPSC preliminary exam is expected to be declared by November. Approximately 15 times the total number of posts candidates will be shortlisted for the main exam.
