The Council of Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has conducted ISC (Class 12) Accounts Semester 1 paper today, December 20, 2021. The semester-1 exam has been held successfully on OMR sheets. Students who appeared in Monday, December 20 held the Accounts (Subject Code 858) paper now can check the exam analysis, unofficial answer key, and students' views on the difficulty shared by the educators online.
Based on the students' feedback, the difficulty level of the ISC Accounts paper is reported as easy to moderate. While sharing his personal views a student said, "The overall level of today's paper (ISC Accounts) was moderate. Questions based on Partnership Accounts were comparatively easier than of Joint Stock Company and Ratio Analysis topics".
According to the reports, the ISC Accounts paper is held successfully from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Candidates were allowed additional 15 minutes for only reading the paper. Students were strictly instructed to follow the COVID-19 protocols.
ISC Accounts paper was conducted for a total of 40 marks. Based on the students' feedback, the paper was moderate in difficulty. As given in the ISC Semester 1 specimen paper, the marks were allotted in the bracket for each question. Each question/ sub-part of a question carries 1 mark. While there is no provision of negative marking.
The paper was divided into three sections. Section 1 was divided into two parts consisted of eight questions. Candidates were given an option of choosing between Section B and Section C. Both these sections had 3 questions out of which 2 had to be answered.
As prescribed in the bifurcated syllabus for ISC Class XII Year Examinations 2022, questions in the Accounts paper were from Partnership Accounts, Joint Stock Company Accounts, and Ratio Analysis units.
