CISCE ICSE Biology Answer Key 2021; Check Dec 15 Paper Analysis and Experts' Views on Difficulty

CISCE ICSE Biology Paper 2021 Analysis: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has conducted the ICSE Biology paper on December 15. The 60-minute duration exam is reportedly conducted successfully from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at CISCE allotted centers. Based on the paper analysis, the Biology exam was moderate in difficulty. Students who appear in ICSE Science Paper 3 (Biology) exam now can check the question paper insight, unofficial answer key, and experts' views on paper. Based on the feedback provided by the students, the overall level of the ICSE Biology paper was moderate. Students with basic preparations could attempt 25 questions easily. Further, it is reported that the Biology paper was on a similar pattern as described in the ICSE Specimen paper. Further students found the paper 'balanced'. Further, it is reported that the questions from Plant Physiology were comparatively easier than the questions from Basic Biology.

According to the exam experts, a total of 40 questions divided into sections A, B, and C, were asked in today's Biology paper. Students had to attempt all questions in a time duration of one hour inclusive of reading time. All questions were compulsory to attempt and marks of each question were given in brackets, in front of the particular question.

It should be noted that each question carries 1 mark. There is no negative marking in the exam. The maximum marks in the Biology paper are 40. MCQs were asked from the first 2 units i.e- Basic Biology and Plant Physiology.

According to the media reports, CISCE will release the ICSE (Class 10) official answer key, after the 1st-semester ICSE exams are over. The key will be released online on its website cisce.org.
