Andhra University conducts APSET 2020 examination for Paper 1 and 2 on December 20, successfully. Nodal University organizes APSET 2020 in 30 subjects, in two consecutive shifts. The Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) 20 December (Sunday) is conducted in two papers Paper 1 (Common) and Paper 2 (Subject specific) examination. Candidates appear for the Andhra Pradesh SET exam have a look at the paper analysis for each shifts.
In view of demand for recruitment as assistant Professors / Lectures through direct recruitment or promotion in Universities and Degree colleges in Andhra Pradesh state, Andhra university conducts APSET 2020 examination on 20th December, 2020 (Sunday). The eligibility test is conducted following the social-distancing and safety protocol.
The APSET 2020 question paper- 1 was common for all candidates appearing APSET and was bilingual in nature (English and Telugu). APSET Paper 2 was for the subjects a) Commerce b) Economics c) Education d) History e) Political Science f) Public Administration and g) Sociology were bilingual (English and Telugu), all the remaining papers were in English only except Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu and Urdu.
Paper 1 Analysis: (1 Hours 09:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M IST) shall be of general nature, intended to assess the teaching/ research aptitude of the candidate. It will primarily be designed to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the candidate. Paper-I consisted of 50 objective type questions. Each question carries 2 marks.
As per the students, the common paper consisted of questions from Teaching Aptitude, Research Aptitude, Comprehension, Communication, Logical Reasoning, Mathematical Reasoning and Aptitude, People Development and Environment, Information and Communication Technology(ICT), Higher Education System. The overall paper difficulty-level was of moderate level.

Paper 2 Analysis: (2 Hours 10:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M IST) Exam consisted of 100 objective type questions based on the subject selected by the candidate. Each question will carry 2 marks. The candidate will have to mark the responses for questions of Paper – I and Paper - II on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Sheet provided along with the test booklet.
