UPSC releases Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Exam 2020 Admit Card

The Union Public Service Commission has activated the E-Admit Card Download Web Link for the Candidates appearing in the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020 slated to be held in compliance with the Government of India issued novel CoViD-2019 Standard Operating Procedure. The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020 Admit Card will bear the Essential Instructions including Examination Venue, Time of Reporting among others to be adhered to by the Candidates.

The Union Public Service (UPSC) has activated the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020 E-Admit Card Download Link for the Candidates eligible to appear in the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020 to be held as per the Time Table likely to be declared soon. The UPSC will publish in the Website the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020 Schedule for the Candidates.  The Candidates have been issued One Time Password for downloading their respective E-Admission Certificates for the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020 to be held as per the UPSC Schedule.

To do Task in respect of Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020 E-Admission Certificates by the Candidate: 

To begin with downloading E-Admit Card for Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020, log into the UPSC Website and enter the Displayed Instructions in the E-Admit Card Link.

Carefully check out the E-Admit Card and immediately intimate visible discrepancies, in case any, to  Union Public Service Commission  

Write in the E-Admit Card Candidate (Individual) Name and also mention Examination Roll Number, Registration ID Name and Year of the Examination [Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020] in the space displayed in the E-Admit Card.   

Carry the E-Admit Card (Printout together with the Original Photo Identity Card, Whose Number is mentioned in the E-Admit Card, in each Session to secure admission into the Examination Hall. The Candidates must preserve their resepctive E-Admit Cards till Announcement of the Final Results of the Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020. The onus of keeping their E-Admit Cards lies on the Candidates in safe custody to prevent its Misuse by any Impersonator.   

The Stage - II Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020 is Descriptive Type / Conventional Type and carries Maximum 600 Marks aimed at Shortlisting the Candidates for Personality Test. 

Selection to the Posts under Combined Geo-Scientist Recruitment Examination 2020 consists of 03 Stages; viz., 

The Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination 2020 shall be conducted according to the following Examination Scheme : i) Stage-I: Combined Geo-Scientist (Preliminary) Examination (Computer Based Objective Type Papers Test) for 400 Marks, aimed at shortlisting the candidates for Stage-II Main Written Examination / Combined Geo-Scientist (Main) Examination (Descriptive Type Papers) for 600 Marks (iii) Stage-III : Personality Test alloted 200 Marks for drawing the Final Merit List taking into consideration Combined Marks secured in the Main Examination and Personality Test.
