The Union Minister for Education Ramesh Pokhriyal informed that the Under-Graduate and Post Graduate Academic Session shall commence on the 1st Date of November 2020 in compliance with the University Grants Commission issued CoViD-19 (Do's and Don'ts) Standard Operating Procedure detailing the Guidelines for the Academic Sessions 2020 - 21 and 2021- 22.
The Acdemic Session 2020 - 21 of Under-Graduate and Post Graduate Courses commences the 1st Date of November 2020 onward.
That the Delhi University Affiliated Universities and State-wise Universities should have to complete Admission Formality where Admission into the Colleges are based on the Merit / Entrance Test should be completed by October-end 2020
Academic Session 2020 - 21 in case of delay in announcement of the Qualifying Examinations shall commence on the 18th of November 2020. The Last Date for filling the Vacant Seats for Admission into 03-Years' Bachelor Degree Course and Master Program is stipulated for 31st Date of November 2020.
In case of the Equivalent Self-Financed / Private Institutes where Admission in Undergraduate and Post Graduate are based on the University Entrance Tests, may commence the Academic Session with immediate effect and the, Documents of the Qualifying Examnation Students may be aknowledged up to the 31st Date of December 2020.

In view of the #CoViD19 Pandemic,@ugc_india has issued guidelines on Examinations & Academic Calendar for UG & PG Students for the Session 2020-21, said the Union Minister for Education. The Students should visit the University Grants Commission Website to check out CoViD-19 Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in reference to Academic Session conduct among other Instructions for compliance by the Faculty Staff and the Students within the University / College / Institute premises.
The College staff shall conduct 06-Day Class Pattern for the Academic Sessions 2020 - 21 and 2021 - 22 to compensate loss of time due to global pandemic novel Corona Virus Disease (CoViD) 2019. The Private Institutes, according to University Grants Commission CoViD-19 Guidelines, must refund the students Full Admission Fee Amount on account of Cancellation / Migration up to the 30th date of November 2020. Thereafter the Private Institutions to refund the Admissin Fee Amount after deducting Rs. 1000/- as Processing Fee due to Cancellation or withdrawal up to 31st of December 2020.
The University Colleges and Private College Institutions shall by and large conduct the 1st Semester / First Year Non-Semester Examinations between the 8th up to 21st Dates of March 2021, says the UGC Guidelines
