DU Spot Admission 2020: Registration for Entrance Based UG courses begins

The Delhi University has displayed the spot admission 2020 notice for the UG Entrance based courses. Spot admission form for UG courses can be filled from 23-24 November, 2020 via Google Form. Here's the detailed report on Delhi University's spot admissions 2020-21.

DU Spot Admission: The University of Delhi has released Spot admission notice for the entrance based UG courses. DU invites applications from candidates appear for the NTA DUET 2020 UG entrance exam and candidates whose names appeared in the previous merit lists, but did not apply for admissions. Interested candidates can participate in the spot admission by filling online Google form, from 11:59 pm 23rd Nov 2020 to 11:59 pm 24th Nov 2020.

University also displays the number of vacant seats under each category, course, and college, on the website of University of Delhi along with the range of the rank of the applicants that will be considered for the spot admission. Applicants who apply for Spot Admission will be allocated course/ college as per their rank merit. The allotment of seats to shortlisted applicants will be done by 25th Nov 2020, reads Delhi University's Spot Admission notice.

Spot admission under Entrance Based courses to take for a) BA (Hons) Business Economics, b) Bachelor of Management Studies, c) Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), d) B.Tech. (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations), e) B.A. (Hons.) Humanities and Social Sciences, f) Bachelor of Elementary Education, and g) Five Year Integrated Programme in Journalism.

DU Spot Admission 2020 Registration (Begins):

Applicants who are interested to participate in the spot admission must apply from 11:59 pm 23rd Nov 2020 (Monday) to 11:59 pm 24th Nov 2020 (Tuesday) through the Google form that is available on the University of Delhi Website. Applicants already admitted in B.El.Ed, BMS, BA (H) BE and BBA (FIA) and wish to upgrade their college/ course as given in their preferences can apply in the Spot Admission. Admission Seat Allotment:

The portal will open from 00:01 am of 26th Nov 2020 to 11:59 pm of 26th Nov 2020 for shortlisted students to apply against the Spot admission. Colleges/ Departments/ Centers to approve all such applicants who have applied in Delhi University's Spot admission by 27th Nov 2020 (5:00 pm). The payment link for these applicants will remain open from 27th Nov till 11:59 pm of 30th Nov 2020.

The seat allocation under Spot Admissions for the following courses were started as per the schedule- 

1. B.Tech Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations (IT & MI)

2. B.A. (Hons) Humanities and Social Sciences

3. Five Year Integrated Program in Journalism

4. B.A. (Hons.) Multi Media and Mass Communication

The process of seat allocation and admissions under Spot Admissions to following courses will commence from Tuesday, December 01, 2020 for the Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) and BMS/BBA/BBE (DU JAT).

As per the notice, admission process will be completed only after online verification of documents, fulfillment of eligibility criteria and payment of fees within the stipulated time.

Important Notice, Dated 22 Nov: University asks applicants who are admitted to any course (payment is done) to not to cancel their admission after the notification of the Press Release. "The applicants who cancel their admissions after the closure of the 5th Cut-Off will not be considered for the Special Cut-Off. This is in accordance with the guidelines published in the Bulletin of Information for UG that there will be no movement allowed during the Special Cut-Off", notice reads.
