The University of Delhi (DU) Admission panel has decided to not conduct Interview and Group Discussions for admission session 2020-21. Considering the ongoing situation due to Coronavirus, DU has opted for not holding Interview and Group Discussions for PG admissions 2020. Earlier the Interview/ GD component was consisted of 15% weightage for Post Graduate admission in Delhi University.
The member of standing Committee University of Delhi, Mr Arun Kumar Atri said that in University’s PG courses including MBA, MBA (Finance), M.Com and different courses in M.A courses admissions were being conducted by University on Interview basis, but for current session 2020-21 no Interview or Group Discussion will be part of. This decision to curb the GD & Interview for PG Admissions 2020-21 was taken on Thursday taking social distancing norms in preview. In view of Covid19 pandemic University is trying to hold a contact-less Admission Session this year.
DU has eliminated the Interview & GD component from the admission process. The interview was generally given 15% weightage for admission in postgraduate courses at the university. Committee has also decided to eliminate Sports Trials for ECA admissions for session 2020-21.
PG Admissions Registration from June 20- The registration for Application to Post Graduate Admission shall begin from June 20. Delhi University has advised colleges in the bulletin of information that they should not consider any other criteria for admissions except written examination because the Physical Presence of the applicants will not be possible for current Academic Year.

DU PG Admission Criteria 2020-
University has prescribed the new criteria for Post Graduate courses including M.A, M.Com, M.B.A & M.Sc. University will provide admissions to PG Courses on the basis of performance in the Entrance written examination (No Interview/ GD). Admission into MBA courses will be based on score of Common Aptitude Test (CAT).
Delhi University has also suggested Colleges to provide online Counseling facility to students seeking admissions in Post Graduate courses. All the decisions and information regarding the DU PG admission process will be conveyed to the students through official website.
Note- In regarding PG Admissions 2020-21 acceptance, denial, and hold, whatever the case may be, will be intimated to the students along with a reason at the official website.

DU Admission Cutoff at Portal
University has decided to call students directly for classes. The complete process for admissions shall be conducted online without physical presence, committee said. Admission Cut off will be published at du.ac.in dashboard. Intimation on seat allotment in particular college through Admission dashboard while Payment of fee shall be communicated through registered email by applicants.
After payment of fee, admission will be assured and after opening of Colleges, students will have to report along with documents submitted online at admission portal.
