DU Admission 2020-21 Online Portal ! Registration @FSR begins, for Nationals Merit based Schedule, Soon

The University of Delhi (DU) in inviting the online applications from foreign nationals for the academic session 2020-21. Delhi University has enabled UG, PG, MPhil, Ph.D & Certificate/ Diploma courses admissions online window for Foreign Nationals through Whereas for Indian nationals, University is in consultation to release schedule for Under Graduate admissions as DU UG Admission Portal has launched for the session 2020-21.

Foreign Students’ Registry (FSR) window for admission is open. Foreign nationals seeking admissions in University of Delhi in its different programmes of study taught in its various Colleges, Departments and Centres, can register Online at for 2020-21 admission session. The last date for application registration is set as 6th July 2020 for PG/ Master’s programmes and 12th July for Under Graduate courses.

In row to the same, Delhi University is also planning to begin UG Admission online registration for 2020-21 for Indian Nationals. Earlier as per provisional schedule, University hinted to begin UG portal from 8 June, but remained undecided on actual dates for UG BA, BSc, BCom (Program/Hons) courses for new session 2020-21.

DU Courses for Foreign Nationals- Admissions in UG, PG, MPhil, PhD, Diploma/Certificate courses for foreign nationals are open. Foreign nationals can register before end date at FSR DU portal. Admission Process- The process from “Application to Admission” for foreign nationals comprises of 4 broad steps as listed:

Step 1. Apply: Prospective student applies

Step 2. Admission Process: FSR Office evaluates applications and offers admission to selected candidates

Step 3. After Selection: Provisionally selected candidates follow necessary formalities before arriving in Delhi.

Step 4. After Reaching Delhi: Such candidates are required to complete other procedures.

DU Admission Selection Process for Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals seeking admission in professional programmes (B. A. (Hons.) Business Economics, BMS, BBA (FIA), B. Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations), B. A. (Hons.) Humanities and Social Sciencs, B.El.Ed, B.P.Ed. B. A. (Hons.) Multimedia and Mass Communication, B. A. (Hons) in Hindustani Music (Vocal/Instrumental), B. A. (Hons.) Music, 5 year integrated programme in Journalism, Master of Fine Arts (MFA), B.Sc. (PE, HE and S), B.Ed., M.Ed., and in all Post Graduate programmes are exempted from entrance test.

Provisional Admissions- Only those applicants who fulfill the eligibility requirements and are recommended for admission by the respective admission committee are issued a provisional admission letter by the Foreign Students’ Registry (FSR) office. Copies of the provisional admission letter are sent to the (i) Embassy of the applicant’s home country in New Delhi, (ii) Indian High Commission in applicant’s home country, and (iii) applicant’s email address. Therefore, applicants are advised to write their email addresses and other details clearly on the application forms

Application for Visa- The Provisional Admission Letter shall be used for applying for the Student/ Research visa in the Indian Embassy in the applicant’s home country/country of residence. Student Visa: Student Visa endorsed for University of Delhi is required for enrolment in Undergraduate Programme, Post-Graduate Programme, Certificate or Diploma Programme, and M. Phil. Programme.

DU UG Admissions (For Indian Nationals)

DU UG Admissions 2020-21 for Nationals- Portal initiated

Delhi University has started the official portal for Under Graduate admission for the upcoming batch of 2020-21. The registration for DU UG Admissions 2020 that was expected to be start from 8 June has been delayed. Delhi University has intimated that the date for starting of Under Graduate admission will be announced soon.

At the Delhi University UG Admission 2020-21 portal after beginning of Admissions marks of Class 12th exams can be updated. As per new schedule, Delhi University is likely to change the schedule for releasing Cut off 2020.

It should be noted that Delhi University Under-Graduate admissions 2020-21 will be based on Merit cum Cut off & Entrance Test. It is hereby advised to students to keep their academic documents ready for application form as registration is expected to begin shortly.
