The Schools in the national capital are re-opening from 18th January, for the students of Class 10 and 12. In view of the pre-board exams and relevant activities. According to the Delhi Education Minister permission is given to govt and govt-aided schools to conduct exams for both Classes.
"In view of CBSE board examinations and practicals in Delhi, permission is being given to open schools for practical, project, counseling etc. for 10th and 12th classes from January 18. Student can be called only with the consent of parents. Children will not be forced to come," Delhi Deputy CM and Education Minister Manish Sisodia tweets.
दिल्ली में CBSE बोर्ड परीक्षाओं व प्रैक्टिकल के मद्देनज़र 10वीं और 12 वीं क्लास के लिए 18 जनवरी से प्रैक्टिकल, प्रोजेक्ट, काउंसिलिंग आदि के लिए स्कूल खोलने की अनुमति दी जा रही है. अभिभावकों की सहमति से ही बच्चों को बुलाया जा सकेगा. बच्चों को आने के लिए बाध्य नहीं किया जाएगा.

In another report the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has hinted-out on schools re-opening also asked all affiliated schools to start practical examinations from 1st March. Pertaining the schedule of Practical exams and pre-board preparation activities, Delhi Govt has allowed schools to conduct physical classes for Class 10 and 12 students. CBSE board theory exams for both Class 10 and 12 are scheduled to begin from 4 May.

Earlier, in a report Delhi Education Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that Delhi Government is considering the possibility to re-open the Delhi based schools as vaccine is about to roll-out. "Our future strategy will depend on how early vaccine is available for the normal public after frontline workers are vaccinated", Sisodia added.
