WhatsApp Payment: Here is how to send and receive money via WhatsApp

WhatsApp has launched a payment method, Here everyone can check how you can set up your account and send money and receive money on WhatsApp. WhatsApp payments will finally be available in India, for WhatsApp users in India. The owner of Facebook promised that WhatsApp's payment feature will be available to everyone by the end of the year and the service will now be officially rolled out as the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) has given WhatsApp its approval. As per the latest report, Whatsapp users now can send money and receive money through your WhatsApp. WhatsApp has partnered with five leading banks, including ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, State Bank of India, and Jio Payments Bank to enable UPI payments in India. To send or receive money through WhatsApp Pay, you must first have a bank account and a debit card.

WhatsApp payments: How to set up your account

Step 1: Open the WhatsApp application on your phone and tap on the three dots icon, which is located in the upper right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap Payments> Add payment method. You will get a list of bank names.

Step 3: After selecting the bank name, its number (linked to the bank) will be verified. For this, you need to tap on Verify by SMS.

Step 4: Once the verification process is complete, you may need to finish setting up payments. You will need to set a UPI pin to transact similarly to other apps. After this, you will be able to see the chosen bank on the payment page.

WhatsApp payment: how to send or receive money

Step 1: Open the person's chat on WhatsApp and go to the attachment icon.

Step 2: Tap Payment and add the amount you want to send to the person. You can also add a note.

Step 3: To complete the WhatsApp payment process, you must enter your UPI PIN. Once the transaction is complete, you will receive a confirmation message.
