Swamitav Yojana: Drone mapping, loans on land- Know all scheme benefits

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 24, on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Diwas launched Swamitva Yojana. During the interaction with Village Sarpanches, PM Modi laid down inaugurated the two schemes for the benefits of Villages comprising Swamitav Yojana and e-GramSwaraj Portal & App. The newly launched Swamitva scheme to facilitate Loans to Villagers on their land falling under Yojana's periphery. Initially the Swamitav Yojana is launched in six States e.g Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Karnataka & Himachal Pradesh  on trial bases. Under Swamitav scheme, the mapping of Village land including plots will be done via drones and this will be helpful in resolving land disputes among Villagers.

Swamitav Yojana on Panchayati Raj Diwas is launched in pilot mode in 6 states and to help in mapping rural inhabited lands using drones and latest survey methods, said Panchayati Raj Minister.

All About Swamitav Yojana

The newly launched Swamitav Yojana is launched in pilot mode in six states. Under this scheme land owners can avail loan on their Proprietor Certificates. The scheme will help in resolving land disputes in states with the help of Drone mapping. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted with Sarpanchs of Gram Panchayats throughout the country, on the occasion of National Panchayati Raj Day 2020. During this event he launched a unified e-GramSwaraj Portal and mobile application and Swamitva Scheme.

PM Modi during the launch of Yojana on Panchayati Raj Diwas wished the Sarpanches on Panchayati Raj Day and for defeating Corona with their collective efforts.

Addressing the Sarpanches all over the country, the Prime Minister on April 24 on the occasion of Panchayati Raj Diwas also launched e-GramSwaraj Portal & mobile application.

The Prime Minister launched Swamitav scheme will ensure streamlined planning, revenue collection and provide clarity over property rights in rural areas.
