Netrikann Movie: Know the release date, cast, teaser, trailer and story

Netrikann Movie is a Tamil language thriller film written and directed by Milind Rau and produced by Vignesh Shivan with his banner 'Rowdy Picture' and Hyunwoo Thomas Kim (Kross Pictures India Pvt Ltd) & K.S. Mayilvaganan. The film stars Nayanthara in the leading role along with other supporting actors such as Ajmal Ameer, Saran, Indhuja, and Manikandan.

Nayanthara turns 36 years old today on November 18, 2020. On the occasion of her birthday, the makers of the film and producer Vignesh Shivan released the teaser of the film. The film is most likely to be released next year in February 2021 at theatres. The couple has been dating each other for past 5 years now.

As per the teaser, Nayanthara is playing the role of a blind woman. It is a thriller based film which revolves around the serial killing of young women in the city. The teaser of Netrikann is creating great suspense in the minds of viewers. Acting as a blind is a big character to perform and it looks like she has done quite an amazing job. 

In an interview, Vignesh Shivan said that "We as an entire team owe a lot to Superstar Rajinikanth sir, late director K Balachandar Sir and Mrs Pushpa of Kavithalaya Productions for giving us the title Netrikann. Milind’s script is an interesting and intriguing thriller. Just like his previous film, this will also be entertaining for the audience."

The first look poster of Netrikann earned a positive response from the viewers. The music for the film is composed by Girish G while cinematography and editing of the film are done by RD Rajeshekar and Lawrence Kishore, respectively.

The actress was earlier seen in Mookuthi Amman, a film directed by RJ Balaji N. J.Saravanan, featuring Nayanthara in the leading role. The film was released on November 14, 2020, on Disney+ Hotstar where played the role of a Goddess. The film is soon going to be released in theatres next year in February.
