Bollywood actor Actor Irrfan Khan passes away at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai while battling a rare cancer. He was surrounded by his family as he breathed his last. Angrezi Medium actor was battling a rare Cancer and on Wednesday breathed his last in Mumbai based Hospital. As per official reports Bollywood actor Irfan Khan took his last breath on Wednesday. He passed away at an age of 54 years. He was suffering from colon infection and was admitted in Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. Many actors have tweeted expressing their grief about Irfan Khan's sudden demise.

Actor Irrfan Khan passes away at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai while battling a rare cancer. He was surrounded by his family as he breathed his last. Actor Irrfan Khan has died at the age of 54, after being admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Tuesday, where was under observation for colon infection. The actor in 2018 had announced that he’d been diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour.

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan has left this world, said Hospital doctors. On Tuesday,  Irrfan Khan was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai due to colon infection. Meanwhile, there were various rumors about him. Although his team said that he is strong and fighting. According to reports received on Wednesday, Irrfan Khan has passed away. Filmmaker Shujit Sarkar has consoled his family by tweeting. Bollywood mourns over the actor's loss.

Initially at 12 passed 14 Filmmaker Soojit Sarkar, who worked with the actor in the film Piku (2015) took to Twitter to condole the actor's sudden demise. 

Irrfan Khan passes away

In 2018 Irfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor. He was undergoing treatment in London. He then returned to India after his health improved. His mother had passed away recently. He could not attend her funeral due to the lockdown.  For the past several months, he has been providing routine checkups and treatments related to his illness at Kokilaben Hospital. It is said that his health deteriorated even during the film 'Angrezi Medium'. In such a situation, the entire unit had to stop the shoot. When Irfan felt better, the shot was taken again.

In Indian Cinema, his most famous films include his debut, the Academy Award-nominated Salaam Bombay!, Maqbool (2004), Paan Singh Tomar (2011), The Lunchbox (2013), Haider (2014), Gunday (2014), Piku (2015) and Talvar (2015) and Hindi Medium (2017).
