Superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie Darbar will be releasing in more than 7,000 screens worldwide, including 4,000 plus screens in India, according to a senior official of Lyca Productions, which has bankrolled the movie.

Thalaivar's movie will be releasing in around 7,000 screens worldwide and makers of the film added so many new release centres including some islands. Darbar Tmail movie is going to be a blockbuster of 2020 as per early report. The movie is releasing in unusual number of screens in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and other States and this association with Airtel will give a wider reach to both the brands.

Director AR Murugadoss, reveals about Darbar Movie which will cover Subject of sex crimes in India. In a media interaction director opened about Darbar film and gives hintes that it will feature an incident similar to the recent Hyderabad rape case. 'The film does talk about the issues faced by a city like Mumbai. It’s topical. There are two types of cops - those who are puppets in the hands of the powerful, and those who have integrity and individuality. The latter are lionized in our society and films he said.

Darbar Movie Pre-Release Business-

The much awaited movies of the year, Rajinikanth's 'Darbar' is set to hit the screens on January 9 and the fizzing is already high. The film marks Rajinikanth's first collaboration with AR Murugadoss, and will starring the superstar in the role of a powerful cop by the name of Aditya Arunachalam. According to repot, 'Darbar' has earned a pre-release business of above Rs 200 crore.

The Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of 'Darbar' reportedly fetched close to Rs 60 crore while the film’s rights were sold for Rs 14.2 crore in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. 'Darbar' will have to collect over Rs 280 crore at the worldwide box office to reach its break-even, considering its budget of nearly Rs 300 crore. Darbar movie is also Starring by Bollywood stars like Sunil Shetty and Prateik Babbar are a part of the film. Going by the fizz, ‘Darbar’ is expected to collect a total of over Rs 400 crore at the box office.
