Venom Let There Be Carnage Release Date: Sony Pictures pushes the movie premier amid COVID-19 scare

Earlier slotted to hit theatres on 25 June 2021, Venom: Let There Be Carnage has reportedly been delayed because of Justin Lin’s F9, which will release in June. Sony Pictures have pushed that date due to the COVID-19 resurgence.

According to reports, The Sony/Marvel film, 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' which stars Tom Hardy in the titular role, is now going to replace another Sony film Man From Toronto for the September release schedule. The report mentions that the new release date for Man From Toronto is yet to be determined.

As per recent reports, as Universal Pictures moved the release date of Fast And Furious 9, Sony Pictures/Marvel Studios chose to avoid the clash. Venom: Let There Be Carnage release has now been confirmed as 17th September 2021.

Distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, 'Venom: Let There Be Carnage' is intended to be the second film in the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters and the sequel to Venom (2018).

The film is directed by Andy Serkis from a screenplay by Kelly Marcel, and stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock / Venom alongside Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Naomie Harris.
