According to recent reports, Akshay Kumar went to Ayodhya this morning for the mahurat shot of his highly-anticipated film ‘Ram Setu’ with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrat Bharucha.
It was reported that the actual mahurat shot had to be canceled due to the large gathering of fans. The situation was reportedly so serious that security personnel and the police in charge of the safety of the actor did not let him get off the car.
The actor shared a photo of the Puja organized in Ayodhya, where he sought the blessings of Lord Ram before the film’s shooting begins.

Ram Setu film will revolve around the story of an archaeologist (played by Akshay Kumar), who is set out to explore whether the Ram Setu bridge is a myth or a reality.
Meanwhile, streaming platform Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday announced that it will be co-producing ‘Ram Setu’. Directed by Abhishek Sharma of ‘Parmanu’ and ‘Tere Bin Laden's fame, ‘Ram Setu’ will be produced by Akshay’s Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, Lyca Productions, and Prime Video.
