On October 20, Kerala celebrated the release of Kantara by Rishab Shetty. Thanks to its plot, performances, and director Rishab Shetty's directing, the Malayalam version of the movie is performing incredibly well in theatres.

In the meantime, the makers were accused of stealing one of their songs by the well-known Keralan band Thaikkudam Bridge on Monday. The music group noted in an Instagram post that their song Navarasam was plagiarised from Kantara's song Varaha Roopam.
