Darbar Box Office Collection Day 7: AR Murugadoss' latest release, Darbar starring by Rajinikanth, Nayanthara and Suniel Shetty is having a thunderous run at the box office. The film which released in over 7,000 screens worldwide, including 4,000 plus screens in India, already earned Rs 220 crore from its pre-release business, including the sale of its worldwide theatrical and all non-theatrical revenue. Darbar is a cop drama which has the 'Thalaivaa' essaying the role of a cop and a social activist. Talking about the film's box office collection, here's how the film fared on the 7 day of release.
The net collection of Darbar in the first week is around ₹112.20 Crores. So far, the worldwide collection of Darbar in seven days is around ₹181.00 Crores. The overseas collection and gross collection of Darbar are around ₹51.00 Crores and ₹130.00 Crores, respectively. In Chennai, the gross collection of Darbar on 7th day is around ₹9.70 Crores.
Meanwhile, Darbar has grossed Rs 8.14 crore in Chennai in just 5 days of its release by earning Rs 86 lakh on Monday. In Karnataka, the film has minted Rs 12.05 crore in four days, reported trad analyst Kaushik LM.The Rajinikanth film collected Rs. 30.80 crore (Tamil, Telugu and Hindi) on Thursday which was followed by an estimated box office collection of Rs. 15 crore on Friday. and Rs. 15.80 crore on Saturday. Darbar minted Rs. 15 crore on Sunday. The film grossed around Rs. 7 crore on Monday and the business remain steady on Tuesday as well.
Darbar's Tamil Nadu theatrical rights is valued at around Rs 60 crore after Vijay's Bigil whose theatrical rights were sold for around Rs 83 crore totally. Darbar is a cop drama in which Rajinikanth portrays two roles of a cop named Aaditya Arunasalam and another of a social activist. The film has been released in over 7,000 screens worldwide, including 4,000 plus screen in India. Darbar hit the screens on January 9. The action-entertainer is a hit with the masses and has already crossed the 150 crore mark worldwide.
