Republic Day 2022 parade to be held at Central Vista Avenue, New Delhi: Union Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri

While interacting with media personnel, Union Minister Hardeep Singh on Thursday said that next year's Republic Day parade will be held at Central Vista Avenue, it will mark an important milestone towards modern India.

Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Hardeep Singh Puri interacted with media personnel on Thursday, in his statement he confirmed that Republic Day 2022 parade will take place at National Vista Avenue, New Delhi. He said that this will be seen as a symbol of modern India.

"The next R-Day parade will be on Central Vista Avenue. It'll be a symbol of Modern India. Some don't understand its importance, some don't want the country to progress. They were questioning the COVID vaccine too but as all can see, we had a phenomenal rollout", said Union Minister Hardeep S Puri while interacting with the media personnel.

Earlier, Union Minister had attended the Bhoomi Pujan of the venue. Hardeep Singh also expressed his disregard for the people who had been criticizing this decision. He said that some people were also questioning the Indian made Covaxin and Covishield vaccines, but its rollout has received praise from various nations.

Earlier WHO had also lauded India's contribution towards fighting the spread of coronavirus through its vaccination drive. As of now, India has rolled out 4.5 million vaccines to various countries including Myanmar, Maldives, Bangladesh,  Mauritius, Sri Lanka, and others.
