This period is also referred to as Devi Paksha because it is celebrated to seek the blessing of NavDurga and her nine fearless forms. Devotees keep a fast on each of the nine days and worship one of the nine forms of Devi Maa. On the seventh day, i.e. the Maha Saptami, devotees worship Maa Kalratri. "Om Bhurbhuva svah kalaraatri iha gaccha ihatisha

This mantra means that devotees bow down in front of Maa Kalratri to remove all the ego and anger from my mind. The word Om signifies mental peace and calm.

गावें स्तुति सभी तुम्हारी.

रक्तदंता और अन्नपूर्णा.

कृपा करे तो कोई भी दुःख ना.
