Watch Live- ISRO is all set to launch CARTOSAT 3 satellites from SDSC Centre from Sriharikota. India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, PSLV-C47 launching Cartosat-3 and 13 commercial nanosatellites into Sun Synchronous orbit from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota on Wednesday. The launch is tentatively scheduled at 0928 Hrs IST on November 27, 2019. This launch of ISRO is fifth in numbers this year. ISRO's PSLV-C47 rocket is expected to put Earth imaging and mapping satellite CARTOSAT-3 and 13 other foreign satellites into a 509 km orbit.
Cartosat-3 Satellite is a third generation agile advanced satellite having high resolution imaging capability. The satellite will be placed in an orbit of 509 km at an inclination of 97.5 degree.
PSLV-C47 will also carry 13 commercial nanosatellites from United States of America as part of commercial arrangement with NewSpace India Limited (NSIL), Department of Space.
