GHOST movie review

Vikram Bhatt uses every elementary requirements of a Bollywood supernatural thriller and infuses it with his flair of confidence. The buildup is smooth the effects are sturdily built. A couple of scenes like the hospital scene where Karan Khanna follows the satan but finds the spirit getting passed to every passerby is build with mounting dread laced with dark humour and suspense.

The mere presence of that hand is scary. Vikram Bhatt effectively uses the learning's from his previous movies of the genre with his education from Mahesh Bhatt's school of mystery, scares, drama and romance for a pleasurable experience for a Bollywood horror/mystery loyal.

The lead cast Sanaya Irani, Shivam Bhaargava, Gayatri Iyer are competent. Ananya Sengupta is s surprise. Vikram Bhatt impresses as an actor shows a degree of subtlety. Prakash Kutty cinematography is picturesque; Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipur's background music is fantastic. Editing by Kuldip Mehan is fine. Music by Nayeem Shabir, Sanjeev Darshan, Arko Pravo Mukherjee, Sonal Pradhan and Vinay Ram Tiwari is passable when one is watching the movie.
