Dussehra is also known as Vijayadashami, it is one of the most significant festivals for Hindu which is celebrated across the country in India with full enthusiasm. It is also called the end of Navratri festivals and it is the day when Maa Durga devotees immerse after the nine days puja.

The festival of Dussehra is celebrated on the 10th day in the Hindu calendar month of Kartik or Ashvin which September and October. Some people are celebrating Dussehra on Sunday, October 25, 2020, and some are celebrating on Monday, October 26th this year in 2020. But as per the Hindu calendar, it is on October 25, 2020.

This day marks the end of two important festivals and marks the preparation of festivals of lights which is Diwali. It likely falls after the 20 days of Dussehra.  This year Vijaydadhami will be celebrated on 25th October 2020. As per the Drikpanchang, the Dashami time starts at 07:41 AM on October 25, 2020, and ends at 09:00 AM on October 26, 2020. 

Dussehra is the end of Ramlila, where god Ram kills Ravan and it is considered as the win of positivity and truth and against negativity. It is celebrated as the remembrance of good over evil as Lord Ram killed Lanka Ravan and came back to his home Ayodhya and this is the day when we celebrate Diwali.
