James Cameron has announced the epic sequel of 'Avatar' 2009, which is released around the last leg of the year. The filmmaker is renowned for his works like 'Titatic', 'Terminator', 'Avatar', and 'Terminator 2- The Judgment Day'. 

'Avatar- The Way Of Water' or 'Avatar 2' is the sequel of the latter Avatar movie which was the highest-grossing movie of all time. It was made on a budget of 327 million dollars and grossed around 2.847 billion dollars worldwide. 

As per the filmmaker, there would be three sequels of the movies 3, 4, and 5 consecutively and may release in 2028, however, the makers haven't disclosed the names yet. Avatar 2 was scheduled to be released on Dec 2021 but was halted due to the covid pandemic.

Avatar- The Way Of Water Star Cast 

The actors in the film play Na’Vi’s character which translates to the star cast as Sam Wothinhton playing the lead role of Jake Sully. Zoe Saldana who is the lady lead plays the role of Neytiri, Jake’s love interest. Jamie Flatters as Neteyam and Britain Dalton as Loak plays the character of Jake and Neutiri’s elder and younger son respectively.

Whereas Trinity Bliss plays the role of a daughter of the couple. Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Matt Gerald, Jack Champion, Edie Falco, Brendon Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, & Jemaine Clement are in the human role.

The trailer showcases Jake and Neytiri’s life after the prequel 'Avatar' when Jake became their leader after fighting the humans, Thereafter, Jake and Neytiri formed a family despite they don’t have a home and exploring many parts of the planet pandora, then humans again arrive to execute them.

The filming of this sequel is around 250 million dollars and as per the latest reports, 'Avatar 2' will be released in 160 languages.

'Avatar 2' will be released in all six languages in India, though the English version is the original one. It is scheduled to be released on 16 December 2022 with a run time of 3 Hours 10 Minutes and this is one of the most awaited films of 2022
